How We're Responding to COVID-19

The world health community continues to monitor closely the emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the disease it causes, named "coronavirus disease 2019" (COVID-19). At this time, no one knows how severe this outbreak will be.

Given this uncertainty, and the fact that the seasonal influenza (flu) virus is also widespread, we are taking proactive steps to address a number of business concerns.

First and foremost, we want all our stakeholders to know that we are taking this very seriously and taking the health of our tenants, volunteers, and staff as our number one priority. We also want to ensure the continuity of business operations in the face of an unknown progress of this situation.

What Next?

Throughout the pandemic our staff has continued to work daily. However, our office is not open to visitors or tenants without an appointment.  All visitors and tenants must complete a vaccination self-attestation form before entering our space.  Tenants are still able to pay rent online or via the US Mail. Tenants and vendors can communicate with us via email, US Mail, or telephone.

Staff are able to choose to attend meetings in person or not.  We respect each staff member's level of comfort around Covid safety protocols. We are available to respond to maintenance issues as per our prioritization system as listed in our leases.

We have come up with a set of protocols to ensure that we stay safe, respond appropriately, and communicate to our stakeholders as situations change.

Tenants, we recommend you activate your online portal in order to make rent payments during this time, if you haven’t already. Please email navigator@homesfirst.org and we will send you a link to get started.
